Session 2 of the 2026 Pacific Summer Institute starts on June 16 and runs until June 26.
Check-in is in the morning of June 16th and check-out is in the evening on June 26th.

Participants must be entering grades 9 to 12.

Description

Following in the footsteps of Professors Snape and Sprout, students in this biology program learn about plants from a faculty member with over 35 years of experience in botany. The program explores how plants are structured, how they function, the diversity and relationships of plants, studying museum collections, online databases and mapping tools. Field trips on campus take place throughout the program.
